K3 Seeds is actively seeking a qualified Sales Agronomist to join our team!

At K3 Seeds it’s about more than just selling seed; we offer cleaning of all crop types in our state-of-the-art seed cleaning plant. Our focus has been and will continue to be putting the customers’ needs first. We believe that our experience across the agricultural spectrum allows us to provide the advice and products our customers need to maximize their growth potential.

Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
  1. Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities to drive business growth.
  2. Foster and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers and growers.
  3. Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies, including social media outreach.
  4. Process and manage new orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
  5. Support inventory management, ensuring efficient stock control and organization.
  6. Assist with Accounts Receivables functions.
  7. Conduct crop scouting and field assessments to support agronomic insights and recommendations.
  8. Collaborate in the planning and coordination of trade show events, including the Ag Expo.
  9. Perform various administrative tasks to support daily operations and team initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Class 5 driver's license (minimum requirement)
  2. Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification
  3. Proven ability to engage in cold calling efforts
  4. Demonstrated farmer-friendly communication style, fostering positive relationships within the agricultural community
  5. Proficient in utilizing a variety of software applications (Seedtrackr, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point)
  6. Strong technical expertise in agronomic practices and applications with the ability to provide valuable insights and recommendations
Schedule:

Monday-Friday (some weekends may be required during planting seasons)
