Job summary

Harmac is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our Bulk customer base and contribute to revenue growth. In this foundational role you will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with prospective customers, support existing accounts, and help drive rate and account activities.

Based in North York, ON, this in-office position offers Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with salary between $50,000 and $60,000 annually plus benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a similar role.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Rate Administration: Prepare spot-rate quotations, maintain sales records, resolve rate issues to support AR, support rate development and cost analysis, respond to inquiries and assist with orders, prepare sales materials and proposals.
• New Account Sales: Generate new business through lead development and cold calling, partner with operations to secure spot loads via daily outreach, initiate credit approval for eligible accounts, assist with RFQs, communicate customer feedback to departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
