Job description

Territory:

We are looking for a candidate to take on existing and potential clients in Southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The role is 100% on the road with some requirements to come to Calgary Head Office a couple oftimes per year.

SUMMARY

Responsible for promoting and selling company products and services, managing client relationships, and growing market share within an assigned territory. Duties include client outreach, sales presentations, order management, and collaboration with internal teams. The role also involves gathering market intelligence, meeting with key internal partners and soliciting product launches and promotions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

ØPrepare, promote, and solicit company products and services to current and potential clients.

ØEstablish and maintain professional relationships with current and potential clients.

ØManage the assigned territory with client communication in-store and virtually.

ØManage the assigned territory with established frequency and consistency

ØWork in conjunction with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage active and inactive clients.

ØExpected to grow TREECO market share in the assigned territory.

ØWork in conjunction with the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage opportunities in the pipeline.

ØPrepare and execute product presentations.

ØCreate and manage quotations and sales orders.

ØDevelop and maintain product knowledge continually.

ØIdentify and resolve client concerns.

ØWork in tandem with your assigned customer service specialist (CSS).

ØCommunicate product quality and supply issues to the Branch Manager to review.

ØCommunicate client activity, market and competitor intel at scheduled sales meetings.

ØPromote and solicit new product launches, sales promotions and slow-moving/discontinued inventory.

ØPromote and attend company events.

ØMaintain sales and marketing assets (merchandisers, samples, etc.)

ØAttend scheduled corporate training and meetings

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

ØParticipate in industry events such as seminars, trade shows, and client functions.

ØWork closely with the territory CSS in the collection of client receivables.

ØAssist in training new staff on product knowledge and sales techniques

ØAttend training sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

ØOther duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

ØHigh school diploma or equivalent.

Ø5+ years in B2B experience is preferred

Ø5+ years of flooring experience is preferred.

ØWork requires significant travel to current and potential clients. This requires possession of a valid driver’s license and a suitable vehicle.

ØA working knowledge of CRM tools and POS systems.

ØAbility to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create and edit written materials.

ØStrong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.

ØVisibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.

ØWork requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule as necessary
