Job summary

Eclipse Automation is seeking a results-driven Sales Account Manager to drive revenue growth across our organization. The role requires a technical or engineering background and 5–7+ years of sales experience in custom automation or engineered-to-order solutions.

You will lead the full sales lifecycle, nurture relationships with engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored technical solutions. Travel up to 30–50% may be required.

• Experience within Automation (service) related markets.

• Lead the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity development through contract negotiation and project handoff.

• Collaborate with internal engineering and application teams to develop and deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast to meet or exceed revenue targets.

The Position:

Eclipse Automation is seeking a results-driven Sales Account Manager to drive growth across the organization. This is a position responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and delivering custom automation and engineered solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–7+ years of sales experience in custom automation or engineered-to-order solutions, along with a technical or engineering background to effectively engage with customer engineering teams and internal stakeholders.

What You'll be doing:

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth.
• Identify, pursue, and close complex custom automation and engineered system service opportunities
• Lead the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity development through contract negotiation and project handoff
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and executive leadership

• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast to meet or exceed revenue targets

Travel:

• Expectation of travel up to 30-50% of the time could be anticipated, however this may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet sales or project needs

What We're Looking For:

Required

• 5-7+ years of sales experience in custom automation, engineered systems, or capital equipment
• Proven track record of closing complex, technical sales opportunities
• Experience within Automation (service) related markets
• Strong consultative selling, communication, and negotiation skills

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar)
• Experience with applications engineering, robotics, automated manufacturing systems, or system integration
• Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes
