Job summary

Source Energy Services seeks a Frac Operator for the Sahara unit on our Grande Prairie site in Alberta. You will operate Sahara units, assist with setup and transport procedures, and ensure safe, efficient plant operation on location.

The role requires experience in oilfield or construction environments, a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and ability to pass drug and safety testing. A 15-on/6-off rotation supports field work and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Previous Frac Operator or similar experience.
• Experience in oilfield or construction with safety standards.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug, alcohol and fit testing.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Rotation of 15 days on / 6 days off.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sahara units and related equipment.
• Assist in set-up and take-down procedures for transport of the unit.
• Maintain Sahara plant on location and ensure safe operation.
• Monitor material input/output and guide offload by drivers.
• Collaborate in a team environment on location with other services.
• Work a 15 days on, 6 days off rotation.
• Report to the Field Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Effectively and safely operating the Sahara units and associated equipment
• Assisting in proper set-up and take-down procedures for all parts of unit pre- and post-transport of the unit
• Ensuring proper maintenance and effective operation of Sahara plant on location
• Monitoring input and outflow of material to and from Sahara plant; guiding supply drivers in offload
• Effectively working in a team environment and with other services on location
• Working a rotation of 15 days on and 6 days off
• This role reports to the Field Manager

Who We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working as a Frac Operator or similar position
• Experience in an oilfield or construction environment requiring strict adherence to operational procedural and provincial safety standards
• Able to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug, alcohol and fit suitability testing
• Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no suspensions). This must be presented as part of the application process.
