Role: Safety Equipment Retail Associate/Mask Fit Tester

Employment: Full-time (40hrs/wk) or Part-time (8-25hrs/wk)

Location: 2444 Barton St E, Hamilton, Burlington, ON

Wage: $41,600/yr (FT) or $20/hr (PT)

Worksite is seeking safety-minded professionals who are resourceful, self-motivated, and highly organized to support customers with safety equipment and conduct scheduled mask fit tests. This retail sales role is based at our new Hamilton Training Centre and can be full-time or part-time. Possible shifts include Monday - Sunday (daytime) and Wednesday - Friday (early evenings). This is an in-store role; remote work is not available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting customers in selecting appropriate worksite safety equipment
• Conducting equipment sales transactions (cashless)
• Store opening and closing tasks
• Monitoring inventory of training materials and supplies
• Addressing customer questions about Worksite training and services
• Providing qualitative mask fit testing as scheduled
• Educating customers on mask use best practices
• Performing other duties to support the team and services

Qualifications and experience include:

• 2+ years in customer service and retail sales
• Experience in occupational health and safety (preferred)
• Educational background in medical administration or occupational health and safety (preferred)
• Experience with qualitative mask fit testing (asset)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Google Drive, Gmail, Microsoft Office, and Stripe POS
• Strong organizational and communication skills
