Job summary

Jobber, Vancouver-based software for small home service businesses, is seeking a Customer Onboarding Specialist to help customers start strong and derive real value from the platform. You’ll welcome new customers, guide them from kickoff to full activation in 90 days, and partner with Sales, Customer Success, and R&D to refine onboarding workflows.

You’ll use CRM tools like Salesforce, Slack, and Chili Piper, apply AI-assisted processes, and focus on empathy, clarity, and measurable milestones

Qualifications

• Experience in high-touch customer service, preferably in SaaS environments.
• Track record onboarding customers to complex products.
• Clear, empathetic communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to operate within defined playbooks, milestones, and metrics.
• Comfort using AI tools in daily workflows and adapting to new tools.
• Strong initiative and bias for action in a fast-paced setting.
• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping small businesses succeed.

Responsibilities

• Guide a portfolio of new customers through onboarding, from kickoff to activation with milestones.
• Be a product expert to drive value of features, workflows, and usage.
• Listen to customers, build relationships, and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Be patient and reliable when things don’t go as planned.
• Use AI-assisted workflows for session prep, follow-ups, and context.
• Support feedback loops to improve retention and onboarding processes.
• Help optimize tooling, processes, and workflows for better execution.
• Act as a Jobber culture ambassador by being supportive and collaborative.
