Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a S3D Administrator / Coordinator in Vancouver on a contract basis. The role focuses on providing project support for SmartPlant 3D and related automation technologies, working with project teams and data personnel to implement, configure, and administer S3D systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 10 years of related industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience administering SmartPlant 3D (S3D) and working with Hexagon technologies in an integrated project environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with management, engineers, designers, clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Understanding of engineering design systems and associated workflows.
• Experience supporting data integration, visualization, and project design technologies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical configuration and office support for SmartPlant 3D technology in collaboration with Project Systems & Data and Project Engineering Management teams.
• Develop, communicate, and audit project execution procedures and bulletins related to SmartPlant 3D technology and project requirements.
• Provide end-user support for software installation, setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Support SmartPlant Review and Navisworks model review software environments.
• Collaborate with senior Project Systems & Data personnel to evaluate technology implementation and support requirements.
• Provide routine user support, project setup, configuration, and modifications required for engineering automation technologies.
• Organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines and project requirements.
• Support company Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability initiatives and policies.
