Grade 12 education supplemented by Human Services Worker program certificate and Autism training such as Provincial Outreach Program for Autism & Related Disorders (POPARD). Valid Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification is preferred. One year recent experience supporting students with diverse learning and behavioural needs such as chronic health impairments, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, learning and intellectual disabilities. French language proficiency. Ability to work effectively with staff and students. Willingness to work in an inclusionary setting supporting differentiated instruction with adapted and modified curriculum. Valid Class 5 B.C. driver's license and license appropriate to the type of equipment/vehicle being operated, with a personal vehicle available for work is preferred. Meets the physical requirements of the position. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
