Job summary

Veterinary Purchasing Company Ltd. (VPCL) invites applications for a Registered Veterinary Technician at the VP Head Office in St. Marys, ON. The role processes, dispenses, and records orders for Medically Important Antimicrobials and other prescription drugs shipped to remote sites.

Under veterinary supervision, you will ensure documentation and regulatory compliance, produce labels, manage records, and liaise with practices while maintaining your RVT status.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Technician with RVT status.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process, dispense, and record orders for MIA, biologics, and prescription drugs to remote locations.
• Review and verify documentation and compliance with CVO regulations.
• Produce prescription labels and process remote dispensing orders.
• Maintain medical and dispensing records and interact with practices regularly.
• Assist with regulatory compliance, warehouse duties, and deviations investigations.
• Maintain RVT status and support with quality and safety procedures.
