Job summary

Fraserway RV in Edmonton is seeking a skilled RV Service Technician to join our local team. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of RVs, with RV-specific training provided to build on your current skills.

Experience across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or related systems is valued. This full-time role requires Saturday availability during our busy season and offers competitive wages along with paid training and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Technician or tradesperson background with ability to diagnose and repair complex systems.
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, appliances, or related RV components.
  • Attention to detail and pride in workmanship; able to work independently or with a team.
  • Strong communication and safety mindset; willingness to learn RV-specific methods.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of RVs.
  • Troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance and warranty repairs.
  • Document findings, repairs, and parts used on work orders.
  • Explain repairs or maintenance recommendations to customers when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Job description

Fraserway RV is looking for anRV Service Technicianto join our Edmonton team. You don't need previous RV experience. If you've worked inautomotive, heavy-duty, marine, trailer, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or another skilled trade, you already have valuable skills that can transfer to RV service.

What You'll Do

You’ll inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of RVs, helping our customers get back on the road and enjoy their travels.

Your work may include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical, plumbing, appliance, structural, and mechanical systems
  • Troubleshooting problems and determining the appropriate repair
  • Performing routine maintenance and warranty repairs
  • Servicing appliances, furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators, and other RV systems
  • Working with Service Advisors and Service Managers to understand repair requirements and priorities
  • Completing repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Documenting diagnostic findings, repairs, and parts used on work orders
  • Explaining repairs or maintenance recommendations to customers when required
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who candiagnose a problem, find a solution, and do quality work.

You’ll be a strong fit if you have:

  • Previous experience as a technician, mechanic, or skilled tradesperson
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or similar systems
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills

Experience in the following is an asset:

  • RV or trailer repair
  • Automotive or heavy‑duty repair
  • Marine or powersports
  • Trailer hitches and wiring
  • Red Seal certification

RV experience is an asset, but it isn't required. If you know how to troubleshoot and repair complex systems, we can teach you the RV‑specific side of the business.

Working at Fraserway

This is a hands‑on position. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors and should be comfortable with standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and working around and inside RVs.

Saturday availability is required during our busy season.
