Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Russian language tutor for Abbotsford. You will conduct 25 x 2-hour sessions, totaling 50 hours, in-person at UFV library or a nearby location. Flexibility in schedule is available based on availability and student needs.

The ideal candidate holds a teaching qualification, has prior language teaching or interpreting experience, and resides within 30 km of Abbotsford. Visa/work permit eligibility is required. Hourly rate is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Be a native Russian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 30 km of Abbotsford.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one language sessions totaling 50 hours.
• Schedule sessions on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, 12:00–21:00.
• Meet in-person at UFV library or nearby locations in Abbotsford.
• Provide feedback and track student progress.
