Qualifications

• Ability to understand plans and bylaws relating to Rural operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE.
• Ability to work outdoors and in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for Rural Services branch operations.
• Coordinate staff, contractors, and maintain equipment.
• Assist in the development of procedures to ensure safety.

Skills

Knowledge of municipal rural operations

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Leadership and planning skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Education

Diploma in Construction, Engineering, Horticulture, or related discipline

Alberta Journeyperson Trade Certification
