Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Milk River, Alberta, is seeking a casual/relief Registered Nurse to provide a broad range of nursing services at the Milk River Health Centre, including emergency and long-term care support.

You will apply nursing processes, exercise critical thinking, teach and advocate for patients and families, and contribute to safe, holistic patient-centered care in a small-town community.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
• If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the past five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required prior to employment: CRNA Medication Management (Chapters 1-4).
• NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification.
