Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) as a Health Care Aide, with proof of education or completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance and support activities of daily living to patients, in accordance with the care plan and policies.
• Assist with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation and safety needs under supervision of a regulated health professional.
• Observe and report patient mood, health and wellbeing; communicate effectively with patients and health care professionals.
