Job summary

Soucy Group in Saint-Jérôme is seeking a gluing operator to join a team that values collaboration and quality. You will glue metal parts, operate glue machines, and help ensure safety and efficiency in a flexible structure with approachable managers.

Reporting to the Insert Processing Supervisor, this permanent full-time night-shift role (Sunday to Thursday, 11pm–7am) offers competitive pay with shift premiums and opportunities to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Glue parts using a gun or brush
• Operate automatic machines that glue parts
• Inspect product in accordance with established quality standards and advise team leader of non-conformances
• Package parts in accordance with instructions
• Advise supervisor and/or team leader of any problems (equipment breakdown, quality issues, etc.)
• Other related duties

Reporting to the Insert Processing Supervisor, you will be responsible for gluing metal parts in compliance with safety regulations. You'll rotate through different stations to vary the work and movements.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to :

• Glue parts using a gun or brush
• Operate automatic machines that glue parts
• Inspect product in accordance with established quality standards and advise team leader of non-conformances
• Package parts in accordance with instructions
• Advise supervisor and/or team leader of any problems (equipment breakdown, quality issues, etc.)

• Permanent full-time position
• Shift:night (Sunday to Thursday 11pm-7am)
• Salary: $24.04/hr on entry, $25.59/hr after 1920 hours worked
• Shift premium: $1.25/hr for evening shift, $1.75/hr for night shift
