Job summary

Fresh Prep in Calgary is seeking a food production team member to prepare proteins, sides, and sauces for Ready to Eat products. You will follow recipes and HACCP standards, operate cooking equipment, and maintain high quality and portion accuracy in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and strong teamwork. Previous food production experience and a valid Food Safety Certification are preferred.

• Previous cooking or food production experience is an asset, but we’re open to candidates with strong transferable skills and the right attitude.
• Valid Food Safety Certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Preparing proteins, sides, sauces, and other components for a variety of Ready to Eat products.
• Following recipes, production procedures, and HACCP standards as directed by the culinary leadership team.
• Operating cooking equipment, including combi ovens and other food-processing equipment.
• Maintaining consistent product quality, taste, presentation, and portion accuracy.
• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets and timelines.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe work area.
• Communicating production issues, quality concerns, and process changes to the appropriate team members.
• Supporting the team wherever needed to keep production moving.
• Other duties as assigned
