Job summary

Mr Apple (Internal Jobs) is seeking a compassionate RSE Pastoral Care Coordinator to support the wellbeing of Recognised Seasonal Employees across Hastings accommodation sites during the peak apple season. This fixed-term role runs roughly from mid-October to mid-May, with early starts, split shifts and occasional after-hours support as teams head to orchards or require assistance outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with team leaders and RSE team members.
• Carry out welfare checks and provide day-to-day pastoral support.
• Support team members with medical appointments and wellbeing needs.
• Complete accommodation inspections and oversee day-to-day supplies across sites.
• Run meetings to set expectations, gather feedback and provide support.
• Support inductions and help RSE teams settle into life and work in New Zealand.
