Job summary

Source Code in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Sr. Project Control Officer to join our hybrid team. The role requires coordinating complex projects, updating managers and PMs, and escalating issues as needed.

You will develop project status reports, maintain logs, and apply PM concepts including risk, scope, planning, and cost management. Knowledge of Scrum and mainframe/legacy systems is an asset.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience coordinating projects.
• Experience updating managers and PMs, escalating issues, identifying risks, and coordinating deliverables.
• Experience developing project status reports and maintaining status logs.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Planview).
• Understanding of project management concepts (goals, risk, scope, planning, cost, quality).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Managers and PMs to provide updates and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify risks and lead/coordinate project deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project status reports and status logs.
• Demonstrate project management software skills (MS Project, Planview).
• Understand PM concepts including goals, scope, planning, cost and quality management.
• Familiarity with Scrum is a plus.
• Experience with mainframe/legacy systems.

Must-Haves:

• Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs.
• Demonstrated Project Management software skills and experience (e.g., MS Project, Planview, etc).
• Understanding of Project Management concepts (e.g., project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management).
• SCRUM an asset.
