Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to support specialty medical clinics in long-term care homes across Sarnia, Ontario.

You will assist with spasticity medication administration, provide clinical and administrative support to physicians, LTC staff, and residents, and coordinate clinic logistics. The role may be full-time or part-time with on-site work, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an LPN (or RN) in Edmonton, Alberta.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• A caring, compassionate, patient-first approach.
• Ability to travel daily by car, with occasional overnight travel (car allowance provided).
• Comfort speaking to small groups.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians during specialty medical clinics in LTC homes
• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and spasticity medication preparation
• Set up and clean up equipment and resident rooms before and after procedures
• Maintain and track medical supplies and clinic materials
• Communicate with LTC staff, physicians, and pharmacy partners to coordinate clinic logistics
• Provide education and support to residents, families, and LTC staff
• Complete required documentation and follow infection prevention and control procedures
