Job summary

Voyageur Aviation Corp. in Canada seeks a skilled RPAS Pilot to lead safe, compliant operation of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems across commercial, government, and special mission programs.

You will plan missions, execute flights, collect data, and ensure regulatory adherence with safety as the priority. Based out of Canada with frequent travel to remote environments, you will work under the VP of Operations and coordinate with observers, sensor operators, and field teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience as an RPAS operator or pilot in complex flight operations.
• Valid airline transport pilot license (ATPL) or commercial license preferred.
• Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
• Ability to obtain Transport Canada Advanced and Level 1 Complex RPAS Certifications.
• Strong knowledge of aviation principles, regulations and airspace structure.

Responsibilities

• Plan missions by conducting site surveys, risk assessments and securing airspace approvals.
• Safely operate RPAS platforms and monitor real-time performance in diverse environments.
• Maintain situational awareness and communicate using aviation terminology with team members.
• Ensure data collection quality and management of mission imagery and sensor settings.
• Complete post-flight reporting, maintenance feedback, and safety debriefs.
