Job summary

Voyageur Aviation Corp. is seeking an experienced RPAS Pilot to operate Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems for commercial, government, and special missions.

You will report to the VP Operations and manage mission planning, data collection, and safety compliance across Canada and internationally. The role requires 5+ years in RPAS operations, familiarity with Transport Canada regulations, and the ability to work remotely in diverse environments with frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of RPAS operation/pilot experience in complex flight operations.
• ATPL or Commercial Pilot License preferred; TC certifications valued.
• Post-secondary education is an asset.
• Strong understanding of aviation principles, regulations and airspace.
• Ability to obtain required certifications upon hire; training costs may be covered.

Responsibilities

• Plan missions, conduct site surveys, secure airspace authorizations and permits.
• Safely operate RPAS platforms, monitor telemetry and ensure mission data quality.
• Maintain flight records, compliance documentation, and safety reporting.
• Communicate with observers, crew, and stakeholders using aviation terminology.
• Respond to contingencies with emergency checklists and risk management.
