Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation platforms across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS) to enable enterprise automation and data management.

You will lead platform operations, reviews, and integration efforts, ensuring security, performance, and adherence to SDLC practices while translating business requirements into scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Typically, good years of relevant RPA development experience using UiPath or similar automation tools.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled agentic automation solutions.
• good years of experience in technology delivery and platform management.
• Deep knowledge and technical proficiency in intelligent process automation lifecycle management gained through education and professional experience.
• Experience with RPA tools including UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate.
• Experience with AWS as well as on-premises platform management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices and programming languages such as Python, Java, and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of the technology ecosystems in which code operates.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy controls.
• Experience with technology integrations, including application and bot integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based RPA platforms to enable enterprise automation.
• Manage all aspects of automation platform operations, including production support.
• Monitor and track platform performance and address operational issues.
• Lead and conduct detailed code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Decompose business requirements and translate them into detailed design specifications and code.
• Interact with business and technology stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that meet business and end-user needs.
• Build and lead the production support function and associated processes for production issues, establish a tiered support model, and manage escalations.
• Work with stakeholders to drive innovation and business outcomes through platform capabilities.
• Leverage platform tools to optimize functionality and operational effectiveness.
• Establish and promote operational best practices, frameworks, and processes across all aspects of platform operations.
• Focus primarily on business group objectives while supporting broader enterprise-wide initiatives.

Role Summary

The Senior Platform Engineer develops, maintains, and manages automation platforms across on-premises environments, AWS cloud, and vendor SaaS solutions to enable automation across enterprise operations and support the delivery of automation products and data management processes.

Understands the implications of various components, including technology strategy and architecture, on the overall design of a program, system, or ecosystem. Ensures that systems functionally meet requirements, align with architecture standards, and promote the development of reusable assets. Supports the resolution of production issues and problems and makes recommendations to improve business processes and systems.

Designs and develops software solutions while ensuring adherence to security, logging, error-handling, performance standards, and other non-functional requirements. Writes, configures, and integrates code that aligns with architecture patterns and technology strategy.

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 100,000 Per Year
