SUMMARY

The Roving Maintenance Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance work and provides routine and on-demand services on the mechanical and electrical equipment and systems of the assigned facilities.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with an emergency on-call rotation.

The technician will be equipped with a company vehicle to support facilities across the regions of Radvillie, Weyburn, Estevan, North Portal, Oxbow, & Carievale.

The technician must hold one or more of the following, in addition to a valid driver’s license for Saskatchewan:

• HVAC Journeyperson
• Journeyperson Millwright
• Plumber Journeyperson (Gas ticket considered a strong asset)

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Subject to legislative licensing requirements and company policy, the technician will:

• Monitor and inspect facility mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure uptime and asset integrity.
• Observe and report on facility conditions, deficiencies, and suggest improvements.
• Conduct facility walkthroughs and system monitoring.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Respond to service requests, perform maintenance, and record data in the management database.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and facility projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and fire protection policies.
• Maintain tools and submit expenditures timely.
• Enhance tenant and customer satisfaction through quality service delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Over 3 years of facility operations and maintenance experience.
• High school diploma plus trades training, certification, or licensing.
• Strong process adherence and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of fire, safety, and building codes.
• Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
• Effective communication and client-service orientation.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

Must possess one or more of the following, along with a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license:

• HVAC Journeyperson
• Journeyperson Millwright
• Plumber Journeyperson (Gas ticket is a strong asset)
