Job summary

UniFirst Canada is seeking a Route Service Representative to deliver and pickup garments on an assigned route, build relationships with customers, and drive reliable service. This field-based role rewards independence and a customer-focused approach.

You’ll work Monday–Friday daytime with no nights, manage schedules, upsell where appropriate, and represent UniFirst with safety and professionalism on every stop.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a Québec Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or CAEC is required.
• Ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and capable of learning new technologies.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route: serve as the primary contact delivering and picking garments daily.
• Support Daily Operations: load/unload route trucks, ensure accuracy.
• Deliver Consistent, Reliable Service: on-time deliveries and returns; maintain satisfaction.
• Grow Customer Relationships: build rapport and upsell new garments and products.
• Drive Sales Growth: identify upselling opportunities to grow the route.
• Represent UniFirst on the Road: operate a company walk-in truck on designated routes with safety.
• Engage in a Physically Active Role: work indoors and outdoors with energy and attention to safety.
• Contribute to Service Excellence: troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain a Predictable Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours; no nights; weekends on same route.
