Job summary

Rentokil Terminix in Maple Ridge, British Columbia seeks a Pest Control Technician to inspect properties, apply treatments, and advise clients on prevention. You will operate company vehicles, maintain equipment, and build strong customer relationships during routine visits.

Qualifications include 1–2 years of customer-facing experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma. Training for licensing is provided with manager support; weekdays with occasional weekends or on-call

Qualifications

1–2 years of customer facing and/or route based experience.
Must pass a pre-employment background screen.
Willing to obtain and maintain Structural Exterminator Licensing with manager assistance.
Available to work Monday to Friday with some weekends or on-call shifts.
Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and time management skills.
Attention to detail.
High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Inspect interiors and exteriors on a recurring schedule to identify infestation sources.
Apply product in infested areas using sprayer and set traps per guidelines.
Offer recommendations to clients on preventing infestation.
Operate company truck and maintain service equipment.
Build customer relationships with friendly, helpful service visits.
Identify opportunities for additional service offerings that add value.
Document and submit work electronically after each visit.
