Job summary

Rentokil Terminix in Maple Ridge, BC is seeking a Pest Control Technician to inspect properties, apply treatments, and protect homes and businesses. You will build relationships with clients and work on a route-based schedule with a focus on safety and results.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years of customer-facing experience, a valid driver's license, and are willing to obtain Structural Exterminator Licensing with manager support. Company vehicle and cell phone are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of customer facing and/or route-based experience.
• Must pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Willing to obtain Structural Exterminator Licensing with manager assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting interiors and exteriors on a recurring schedule to identify infestation sources and access.
• Preparing and applying products on infested areas using sprayers and setting traps.
• Offering recommendations to clients on preventing infestation.
• Operate company truck and maintain service equipment.
• Build customer relationships with friendly, helpful service visits.
• Identify additional service offerings to provide value.
• Document work after each visit and ensure records are complete.
• Performing other duties as required.
