Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Rough Carpenter at Concrete Inc located in Edmonton, AB. The Rough Carpenter will be responsible for

  • Build and set up custom molds & forms for precast concrete production per shop drawings from wood and metal.
  • Assist precast production team with pouring molds, setting up accessories etc
  • Assist with set up & dismantling of precast molds
  • Perform pre pour checks on mold for conformance to standards & specifications
  • Miscellaneous small equipment repairs
  • Monitor and order materials & tools required for project or repairs

Qualifications

  • Journeyman ticket is NOT required but minimum 4 years’ experience as carpenter in construction industry
  • Knowledge of construction materials and methods
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • Physical strength and stamina for labor-intensive tasks
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team player with good communication skills
