Job summary

Eaton’s Early Career Development Program offers a unique pathway into real-world problem solving across manufacturing, engineering, and business roles within Canada. Participants rotate through three assignments over two years and gain mentorship from senior leaders.

Based in the Greater Toronto Area, the program develops core professional capabilities and can lead to roles in operations, quality, project management, or engineering. The salary range is 70,000–80,000 CAD per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the specified engineering disciplines with graduation before July 2027.
• Minimum of one internship or co-op experience.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Residence within 120km of Burlington, ON, Milton, ON, Mississauga, ON, or Toronto, ON.
• Engineering with a minor in business is preferred.
• 2-3 internships or co-ops in manufacturing are a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership in campus/community.
• Ability to speak a second language (French preferred).
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in three 8-month assignments across Eaton facilities in Canada.
• Develop broad skills in manufacturing, engineering, operations, quality, project mgmt, and sales/marketing.
• Interact with Eaton leaders and be part of the early career talent pool.
• After completion, follow career paths in operations, quality, project mgmt, or engineering.
• Program starts in July 2027.
