Job summary

Husky Technologies TM in Bolton, Ontario seeks Manufacturing Support Technicians (Polishers) to hand polish and deburr precision mold components, measure with metrology or CMMs, and sometimes run CNC surfacing equipment. The role requires rotating shifts and a willingness to commute to Bolton.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or apprenticeship, basic tooling experience, and familiarity with GD&T, CAD drawings, and Excel. Growth opportunities and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School/GED diploma or certified apprenticeship program.
• 1–2 years relevant work experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to read GD&T symbols, blueprints and CAD drawings is an asset.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Flexible with rotating shift work.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Lean experience: Flow/Pull, 5S or Continuous Improvement.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Hand polish and deburr precision metal mold components to spec.
• Measure finished parts with manual metrology and/or CMMs.
• Edit and operate CNC surfacing equipment such as CNC Micro-Blast and Honing machines.
• Inspect for defects and ensure correct tolerances.
