Job summary

Husky Technologies Bolton, ON is seeking a Quality Technician to perform basic quality techniques including inspection, audits, and calibration of tools. You will work on rotating shifts and commute to Bolton, 24–29$ hourly with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or in a manufacturing/production environment is an asset
• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Basic knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques
• Proficient in using measuring and inspection tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Executes and assures compliance with quality procedures, practices and inspection processes
• Interacts with manufacturing team members to determine failure cause of quality issues and ensures containment.
• Updates and maintain specific quality metrics as required (SQDC)
• Evaluates hardware, performs laboratory procedures, inspects products, measures process performance, records data, and prepares formal reports
• Interpreting specifications, reading drawings, BOM, standards and tolerances in a GD&T environment
• Supports process capability analysis, Kaizen initiatives and process monitoring for continual improvement
• Trains cross functional team members in quality requirements, inspection and test practices
• Trains other quality technicians or students as required.
• Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished goods
• Use measuring tools and inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Record inspection results and prepare detailed non-conformance reports
• Identify defects and collaborate with production teams to improve quality processes

Pay Range: 24-29$ hourly
