Jardeg is recruiting Rope Access Technicians with a Pipefitter Journeyperson ticket to join the Heartland Constructors team at the IOL Kearl Spring Turnaround. This turnaround will run from May 5 - 30th on a 24/4 rotation, 12 hours per day. Overtime is available daily after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week. Applicants with IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 are encouraged to apply.

Role Overview:

Rope Access Technicians perform repair, maintenance, inspection, and access work at heights using rope access methodology, which offers an excellent safety record and minimal disruption to worksites.

Responsibilities:

1. Proficiency in rope access techniques and equipment
2. Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on structures and equipment at heights
3. Conduct rigging and set up rope systems for safe access and egress
4. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to complete tasks
5. Follow safety protocols and procedures
6. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
7. Apply mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
8. Maintain IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification
9. Complete a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test satisfactorily
10. Hold a valid Standard First Aid (Level C or A)
11. Complete ESC Common Safety Orientation and Confined Space & Monitor training
12. Basic rigging skills
13. Valid Driver’s License
