Job description

Position Summary

Tacten is seeking experienced Rope Access Journeyperson Electricians to support our client in Fort Saskatchewan on an upcoming turnaround! As a Rope Access Electrician, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety.

Project Details:

• Project Based work with opportunity to work additional projects with Tacten
• 6/1 Rotation, 12 hour shifts
• LOA Provided
• Start Date: June 28th with the project running until around August 3rd

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintaining electrical systems where required
• Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations
• Identify issues, replace faulty components, and to ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

• JM Electrician Certification
• IRATA Level 1 ticket required, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness
• Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
• Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level

Safety Certifications

• CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO

• CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)

• First Aid certification

• ESC Fall Protection an asset
