Job summary

Park Hyatt Toronto is seeking a Room Attendant to uphold luxury guest experiences with meticulous cleaning, warm service, and discretion. You will work under Forbes 5-Star standards, ensuring a polished, welcoming environment and privacy for guests.

Role requires flexibility, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver seamless service and maintain impeccable spaces in a premier hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned guestrooms to the highest standard, with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Provide warm, discreet, and anticipatory service that reflects Forbes 5-Star hospitality.
• Respect guests’ privacy and handle belongings with care and professionalism.
• Offer genuine greetings and closing remarks when interacting with guests or colleagues.
• Take ownership in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures for stayover and departure rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, sanitizing bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and furniture cleaning.
• Accurately record and update room status in a timely manner.
• Promptly report any maintenance concerns in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Support the Housekeeping leadership team by communicating guest requests or special needs.
• Participate in periodic deep cleaning projects.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols as well as company policies.

About the Role – Room Attendant

Probationary Rate: $22.55

Hourly Rate: $28.19

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean all assigned guestrooms to the highest standard, with attention to detail and efficiency
• Provide warm, discreet, and anticipatory service that reflects Forbes 5-Star hospitality
• Respect guests’ privacy and handle belongings with care and professionalism
• Offer genuine greetings and closing remarks when interacting with guests or colleagues
• Take ownership in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures for stayover and departure rooms, including:
  • Dusting and vacuuming
  • Bed making and linen replacement
  • Sanitizing bathrooms and high-touch areas
  • Replenishing guestroom supplies
  • Window and furniture cleaning
• Accurately record and update room status in a timely manner
• Promptly report any maintenance concerns in guest rooms and public spaces
• Support the Housekeeping leadership team by communicating guest requests or special needs
• Participate in periodic deep cleaning projects
• Properly return and tag lost and found items
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols as well as company policies
• Perform other duties as required, while consistently upholding luxury service standards

• Constant walking and standing
• Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and kneeling
• Occasional stair climbing, pushing, and pulling
