Job summary

WAINTEL STUDIO-WAINWRIGHT MOTEL, located at 2101 14TH AVE, Wainwright, AB, is seeking a Room attendant. The role is permanent, full-time with 30–40 hours per week and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. The position requires self-motivation and good interpersonal skills, with training provided on hire.

The successful candidate will perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks across guest rooms and common areas, ensuring hygiene and guest comfort. Start date is as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be fluent in English language.

• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock the linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• Provide basic facility information.
• Pick up debris and emptying trash cans.
