Job summary

Alt Hotel Calgary University District is seeking a meticulous room attendant to ensure guest rooms are cleaned to the highest standards and to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests in our Calgary property.

The role requires a dependable, punctual individual who can work independently or as part of a team, with the energy to handle weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Prior housekeeping experience is an asset and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a room attendant, housekeeper or in a similar role is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting and standing for long periods.
• Respect for privacy, discretion, sharp eye and very high attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work as part of a team, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean rooms with respect and care.
• Ensure that all rooms are cleaned and prepared in accordance with established standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with other departments, such as housekeeping supervisors, front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Respond with care and attention to guests' requests and contribute, through your individuality and creativity, to constantly improving their experience.
