Position Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for completing all assigned housekeeping tasks in the hotel. The role involves maintaining a positive image of the hotel to guests and staff, being friendly, courteous, and addressing guest requests and issues promptly. The attendant cleans and maintains the appearance of hotel guestrooms, public areas, restrooms, employee areas, administrative offices, and other designated areas, following safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to meet hotel quality standards.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with WHMIS and biohazard cleanup is an asset
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Strong attention to detail and responsibility for one's actions

May require lifting up to approximately 50 lbs.
