Job summary

CentiMark Ltd. in Winnipeg is seeking a Roofing Estimator to join our team. You will travel to client sites, inspect commercial roofs, and work with the sales force to prepare accurate proposals.

Responsibilities include measuring roofs, estimating material and labor requirements, assisting marketing for new accounts, and occasional overnight travel. A background in roofing and construction is preferred. Excellent computer skills (Word/Excel) and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• MS Word, Excel and bid estimating software proficiency.
• General construction, roofing, or construction sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Able to climb ladders up to 25 feet.
• Experience with commercial roofing systems; training provided.

This role is paying $25/hr - $27/hr, based on experience.

Job Summary

• Travel to customers’ locations and inspect commercial roofs
• Communicate with customers and check roofs for problem areas
• Measures commercial roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed to re-roof
• Will work closely with the sales force to provide them with accurate information for the creation of proposals for customers
• Assist in marketing for new accounts
• Occasional overnight travel during the week

Candidate Requirements

• Computer skills (proficient in MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software)
• General Construction, Roofing and/or construction sales experience
• A valid driver’s license in good standing
• Able to climb up & down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
• Experience with commercial roofing systems: THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, TILE, SPF FOAM and COATINGS preferred, but will train the right individual
• College Degree inConstruction Management or similarpreferred
