Job summary

Flynn-Group-of-Companie in Summerside, Canada is seeking a Roofer to install, repair, or replace four- and single-ply commercial roofing systems using materials such as modified asphalt, elastomeric, or other membranes across industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings.

Daily duties include installing TPO, EPDM, and PVC roofing, adding vapor barriers and insulation on flat roofs, and preparing roofing bases by cutting and fastening paper.

Responsibilities

• Install or replace a variety of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, and PVC
• Install vapor barriers and/or layers of insulation on the roof decks of flat roofs and seal the seams
• Cut roofing paper to size using knives; and nail or staple roofing paper to roofs in overlapping strips to form bases for other materials
