Job summary

Ault Industries Inc. is seeking a field service technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment used in quarry and mine sites. The role involves working on crushers, screeners, and conveyors with occasional travel to customer sites.

You will perform routine maintenance, test repaired equipment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while documenting time and materials for each job. Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in crusher industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing service repairs.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect crushing and screening equipment upon initial delivery for defects
• Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions
• Adjust crushing and screening equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools
• Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on crushing and screening equipment
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
• Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Additional duties as required

Summary of responsibilities

Our heavy equipment consists mainly of crusher, screener and conveyor – We perform our work in Quarry and Mine sites.

Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in crusher industry
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing service repairs

• Ability to use basic computer functions and the MS-Office Suite of products
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
• The capability of working outside in all types of weather for on-site customer service and inside a shop
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong work ethic and reliability
