Job summary

CIMA+’s Transportation team is seeking an Intermediate Road Safety Technologist to support Ontario projects. You will gain broad exposure to Vision Zero planning, data collection, network screening, safety reviews, and stakeholder engagement in a collaborative setting.

You will work with senior professionals, receive ongoing training, and contribute to projects across southern Ontario offices, including Burlington, Kitchener, Mississauga, Toronto, Guelph, London, Bowmanville or Ottawa.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in road safety.
• Transportation Engineering Technology diploma.
• CET designation is an asset.
• Knowledge of OTM Books, TAC/MTO Design Guides, MUTCDC, HCM, HTA.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior technical staff to develop high-quality end products.
• Conduct site visits, field observations and measurements.
• Conduct data collection and processing in support of road safety initiatives.
• Communicate with clients and other team members.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
