Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to service a range of equipment across diverse sites, including remote locations. You will perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and repair gear to minimize downtime while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in diesel/heavy equipment, a valid license, and a willingness to work in varied locations. Excellent team collaboration and safety culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade training preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with an energetic team in a safety-focused environment.
