Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care and medication administration in our long-term care homes across Canada. You will document care in line with regulatory standards and Extendicare policies, while coordinating with the health care team.

You will oversee care plans, delegate to unregulated providers, and support infection control and quality initiatives. Requires current RN registration and experience with seniors.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the applicable Province/State.
• Experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers.
• Strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, care coordination, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and medication administration.
• Complete and update care assessments and service plans.
• Coordinate nursing team assignments and ensure timely delivery of services.
