Job summary

AdventHealth Riverview is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift in Florida. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, design and carry out care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families.

You will document in Cerner/EPIC EMRs and collaborate with the health care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes. The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, RN license, BLS, and strong critical-care and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Nursing licensure and current credentials must be valid.
• Experience with critical care and EMR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and gather data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Document care activities in the EMR accurately.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement and supervise staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and respond to emergencies.
