Job summary

Alberta Health Services in the Radway Cont Care Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long‑term care setting, using nursing processes and patient‑family centered care.

This temporary part‑time position (0.84 FTE) offers shifts of 7.75 hours across days, evenings and weekends, with a 4‑week rotation. Provisional permit holders are paid $40.76 to $55.79 per hour; full permit rates align with UNA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families and communities.
• Apply nursing processes with critical thinking and decision making.
• Teach, counsel and advocate for patients and families and support holistic patient care.
