Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM.
• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current certification in breastfeeding (IBCLC).
• Two years' recent experience in neonatal or perinatal.

Responsibilities

• Provide breastfeeding education and support to expectant mothers.
• Assist mothers in resolving breastfeeding difficulties.
• Deliver nursing care to support lactation and breastfeeding.
• Maintain patient records and follow up on outcomes.
• Share expertise with nursing staff and health care professionals.
• Participate on appropriate committees.
• Perform other related duties as required.
