Job summary

Alberta Health Services' Lois Hole Hospital for Women in Edmonton is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide obstetrical care across Labour & Delivery, Obstetrical Operating Room, and Assessment/Induction Room with cross coverage to Antepartum as needed.

The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced obstetrics knowledge, clinical skills, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to obstetrical patients in Labour & Delivery and related areas.
• Lead nursing processes using critical thinking and decision making.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support patient care and safety.
• Assist with obstetrical emergencies and high-risk obstetric patients.
