Cynet Health in Canada is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ER RN will triage patients on arrival, perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and respond to critical events with clinical judgment and calm under pressure.

You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, educate patients and families, document care in EMRs, and uphold infection control standards while participating in rapid response activities in Burnaby, BC.

Formación

• Active RN license required with current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency or acute care nursing.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities for high-pressure environments.

Responsabilidades

• Triage patients on arrival based on acuity and urgency.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and administer medications per orders.
• Respond quickly to trauma, cardiac arrest, and other emergencies.
• Monitor vitals, initiate IV therapy, wound care, and assist procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to stabilize patients.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures and discharge plans.
• Document care in EMRs accurately and timely.
• Maintain infection control standards and safety protocols.
• Participate in code blue and rapid response activities when required.

Description:

• We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Room team.
• The ER RN will be responsible for providing high-quality, timely, and compassionate care to patients in urgent and emergent situations, often under pressure.
• This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to prioritize effectively, and excellent communication skills.
• Triage patients upon arrival based on acuity and clinical urgency.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and provide treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Respond quickly to critical situations such as trauma, cardiac arrest, and other medical emergencies.
• Monitor vital signs, initiate IV therapy, wound care, and assist in procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care and stabilize patients.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, procedures, and discharge plans.
• Document all care provided accurately and timely using electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Maintain infection control standards and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in code blue and rapid response team activities when required.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse LicenseCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency or acute care nursing required.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
