Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse at Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg for the Day Surgery unit. The term position is 0.60 FTE with days, nights, weekends and non-conforming shifts in person.

The RN will provide professional nursing services, oversee prescribed treatments, and coordinate patient care and discharge. Requires RN degree and Conscious Sedation certification with CRNM registration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
• Certification in Conscious Sedation required.
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional registered nursing services for patients including those with complex health needs.
• Lead within the healthcare team and coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
