Job summary

WSP is seeking a risk professional to advance the assessment of hazards and vulnerabilities across Canada. You will contribute to HRVAs, wildfire strategies, and risk-informed decisions by collaborating with engineers, scientists, and clients on complex projects.

With 2–4 years in risk-related roles, you will facilitate workshops, apply established methodologies, and help craft actionable reports. This role supports flexible work arrangements while delivering high-impact solutions for

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in risk management, emergency management, engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of risk methodologies such as HAZID/HAZOP/FMEA/MAA/QRA and fault/event trees.
• Experience with HRVAs and Wildfire Strategy development is preferred.
• Experience facilitating workshops to achieve aligned outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical risk assessments using key methodologies and quantitative techniques.
• Support development of HRVAs and Wildfire Strategies.
• Produce clear, actionable reports that help clients prioritize and mitigate risks.
• Facilitate workshops to identify risks and build consensus among stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to tailor risk solutions.
• Contribute to tools, processes, and methodologies that elevate risk practice.
• Explore innovations to strengthen analytics and efficiency.
